1) SHIPPING & DELIVERY
On contemponet.com/en it is possible to place orders with shipping to Europe, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway.
Orders are shipped and delivered from Italy to European countries, UK, Switzerland and Norway in 4/5 business days by UPS Courier. Orders outside the EU (UK, CH and NO) may be subject to import duties and taxes imposed by the destination country; any additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the customer. Shipments are traceable. P.O. Boxes cannot be used as a Ship To Address.
Business days are from monday to friday (holidays, saturdays and sundays are not business days).
Please note that the delivery times above are only an ESTIMATE AVERAGE of the actual delivery time.
Please note that at the moment it is not possible to place orders from non-European countries.
However, our books are available worldwide on all the best online bookstores, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.
2) PAYMENT METHODS
Credit Card payments are available on our secure transition page at PayPal.com
PayPal supports a large number of credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard®, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and EnRoute
Now you can buy and pay later with PayPal Pay in 3 (for eligible customers).
PayPal Pay in 3 is a payment method where you can buy now, and pay later by splitting the cost of your order over three instalments. The first payment will be due at time of purchase and subsequent payments due every month on the same date.
Choose Pay in 3 with PayPal at checkout, and enjoy the power to split your purchase into three interest-free payments, with no set up fees or charges. It’s a great way to help you stay in control of your budget.
3) RETURNS
Should you change your mind about an order, Contemponet operates a no-questions-asked returns policy, provided you return your book within 14 working days of the delivery of your order. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. A full refund will be given for the returned items and the original postage costs, but any postage costs incurred when returning your items will be at your own cost.
If the customer wants to return the goods, the products must be intact. The refund applies only to the price of the product without any shipping cost, and will be done from ‘Contemponet sas’ within 14 days from the receiving of the goods using bank transfer or money-order depending on the customer’s need. Obviously, if we ship the wrong product, the shipping costs are totally covered by ‘Contemponet sas’. After the return of the goods the customer can choose to accept the correct product or receding from the order.
How to return the goods
To return a product it is necessary to send a request by e-mail at returns[at]contemponet[dot]com and obtain an authorization from ‘Contemponet sas’. When you’ll have our authorization (next business day) the customer must ship the goods within 30 days.
4) TAXES AND/OR IMPORT DUTIES
If your residence / delivery address is within the European Union you will not be charged any customs duty.
For orders placed outside the EU (UK, CH and NO), please note that you are responsible for any import duties and clearance fees (where applicable) in your own country and to check the duties and clearance fees with your local authorities.
All prices are shown in Euro.
Discounted prices on this site refers only to orders placed online. For orders from bookstores and retailers discount is applied on the cover price.
5) REGISTRATION
When you make your first order you will receive a login and password. You can use it to track your order or make further orders.
FAQ - Shipping and Delivery
However, our books are available worldwide on all the best online bookstores, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.
If you’d like to view your order detail page using your Contemponet account, first log into your account. Then navigate to “My Account” > “My Orders.”
If your package has been marked as delivered but you still haven’t received it, please consider the following:
- Checking your tracking history closely to see if it has any details explaining where and how it was delivered.
- Check the shipping address on your order to make sure it was delivered to your expected address.
- Check with your neighbors/front desk/mailroom etc.
If all options have been exhausted, please contact us, and we’ll handle the situation to your satisfaction.
While we do everything in our power to ensure your books arrive in excellent condition, sometimes a book may be despatched with a printing issue that is not easily picked up by our staff.
In the event your book is faulty eg with insecure binding or misprinted, please contact customer service by clicking here.
Please report any faulty books to us within 72 hours of delivery where possible and include details about the problem, including photos of any visual damage.
NB We kindly ask you not to return defective books without contacting us first.

If your order was returned to sender, it was likely caused by a number of issues, from mail-forwarding, a typo in your shipping address, or even damage to the shipping label, which made the parcel undeliverable. You can check your tracking history for details that might explain what exactly went wrong in this case. These orders eventually make their way back to our warehouse, which are reported to us and we reach out to ask for your preference of a refund or for the order to be re-sent.
If you notice your order is being returned to sender before it reaches our warehouse, please reach out to the customer service team with your order number as soon as you can.
FAQ - ACCOUNT
Log in to your account first if you have one, and try using the search bar. Alternatively, simply search for the book you require from the “Books” menu.
Once you have found the book (or books) you’re looking for, click ‘Add to Cart’
Your Cart is where you’ll find all the books contained within your order before payment. Click on the basket icon in the top-right hand corner of the page to review your choices. Click ‘Checkout’ to pay, and complete your order
If you’ve forgotten to log in, or you want to create an account, you can do so in the payment screen. With an account, you can view, manage, and check the status of your orde
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use the ‘Forgotten password’ link here.
To update your password within your account, follow the steps below:
Click ‘My Account’
Click ‘Details Account’
Scroll down to ‘Password Change’
Once updated, click ‘Update password’
Your password has been updated.
If you have had an order number generated at the end of the ordering process then we will have received your order, even if the confirmation email does not arrive promptly.
Confirmation emails are usually sent automatically to the email address provided on your order form. If you have an account, please log in to check the status of your order.
If you have any queries, please advise your name and your email address – we can check and confirm if your order has been received.
If you have ordered using PayPal, this may be connected to the debit/credit card linked to your account.
